I just got word from my processor that my package has been submitted.  In her words: “Now it is just a matter of time and other people in control.”  I believe January boards are sometime in the middle of the month.

So we wait, and keep our fingers crossed.

After my package is reviewed I will either be denied or professionally recommended.  If I am denied, I will resubmit my package again.  If I am pro-rec’d my single scope background investigation (SSBI) will commence.  As long as that goes well and the Navy still wants me after that, I will get a final select.  Which then I will sign the papers and swear in.  Not all too many more steps!
